I am a Chartered Mediator, a Certified Comprehensive Family Mediator (certified by Family Mediation Canada) and a Chartered Accountant. I am on the Civil and Family Rosters of Mediators for the B.C. Mediator Roster Society. I am experienced in resolving disputes involving families (separation; divorce; pre-marriage and co-habitation agreements; family conflicts of all kinds), partnerships (partnership agreements; internal disputes; compensation issues; terminations; dissolution), schools (boards; professional staff; students; parents), estates (disputes between beneficiaries), business (disputes with boards; valuations; clients; customers; creditors; employees; valuations; contracts).

My training and experience have enabled me to develop the skills and knowledge required for the mediation of a wide variety of disputes. Perhaps my strongest attribute is my passion for mediation as an effective way of resolving disputes. It is a process which is generally successful in reaching a satisfactory agreement for all concerned and, more importantly, in maintaining reasonable relationships.

My past experience includes public practice as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse & Co, where I acquired my financial skills. As the Director of Administration for the law firm of Bull, Housser & Tupper I was directly involved with all aspects of human resource management and partnership issues. I was also the Executive Director of the not-for-profit BC International Commercial Arbitration Centre whose role is the administration of commercial mediation and arbitrations.
